Netflix limited drama series Adolescence has been gaining attention worldwide - not just for its important message, but also for its unique one-shot filming technique.
Key Grip Patrick Gillespie shared a behind-the-scenes look at how the Panther Tower was used, particularly for realizing the driving shots in Episode 4.
„We built a custom rig for the front of a pod-van, allowing us to add the motorized Panther Tower slider system. The whole rig had to be detachable mid-episode.“
We mostly experience the Tower being used vertically. So it was all the more exciting to see it here in a horizontal application, which once again demonstrated how versatile the system really is.
